How are EPF and ETF calculated?

Employee EPF = statutory contribution base × 8%. Employer EPF = statutory contribution base × 12%. Employer ETF = statutory contribution base × 3%. The employee contribution reduces cash take-home; the employer contributions increase employment cost.
